Visit
to the Observatory
On the
18th of September some of Room Nui and some of Room Iti went to the
Observatory in Invercargill to look at some planets.
When
we got there we had to wait for a while for the man to get there so he could
let us into it. When we got into the observatory the man told us about some of
the planets that we could see tonight. He told us it was too cloudy so we would
have to wait for a while for it to clear up.
While
we were waiting we took a look outside, we all started to panic “there are
people in the gardens AHHH!” shouted some people, while some others shouted “show
your faces and I’ve got a gun so beware.” In the end it was our shadows on the trees.
Right
back to the story, we ended up seeing Venus and the moon. I saw mountains on
the moon and some craters.
By the
time we got home it was almost 9:00 and I was so sleepy.
Overall
I had a great time and I loved seeing the moon and Venus.

It was fun at the obsevertory we saw the moon I wasn't there to see the shadows they sounded scary.
