Market Day

On Saturday 16th November the leadership group had a community/family fun day

because we wanted to raise money for the garden area.

We sold things like kindling, baking, toffee apples plus more, and we even had a sausage

sizzle and a  thrift shop.

It was good because we made a lot of money and got good comments about us

Working.

We all had fun,(the waterslide was fun as).

We learnt how to get the right change and about selling people items.

We had fun throwing sponges at people at the face splash.

Ski Time

The time has come, the bell just rang. Ye ha! In half an hours time we are off to Wanaka Lakeview Holiday Park.

Wahoo we are off to Wanaka.  When we got to Wanaka we got our stuff and claimed our rooms.  I was rooming with Ashton, Zekey and Jimmy.  We went back to the living room, tea smelled tasty.  We played a game that I did not understand then I heard "tea time", I was first to the bench.  For dinner I had lasagne, bacon and egg pie and sausages.  When I had finished tea we had to get our day pack.  I forgot to bring a day pack.  I had to bring my big bag.

Oh, the time has come.  We go to bed.  For some reason I could not go to sleep that night.

Yes, its morning, I'm hungry, breakfast time.  For breakfast I had cornflakes and toast.  After that we packed up our stuff and headed to the mountain.  We got up the mountain and claimed our space.  We went and fitted our gear and we headed for the tough blizardy snow.

For a start we had our lesson.  It was tough because the magic carpet was not working ,so we went up the chair lift.  That was hard because I can not ski very well.

At lunch time it was getting bad so we left.  When we got to Lumsden the fish and chip shop was closed so we had Mac'ers and it was yummy.  Then we went back to school to unpack our stuff and left to go home.  I can't wait until next year.
